PBD(1) FreeBSD General Commands Manual PBD(1)

pbd, pbcopy, pbpaste, open – macOS pasteboard daemon

     open file ...

pbd is a daemon which pipes into macOS pbcopy(1), from pbpaste(1) and
invokes open(1) in response to messages sent over TCP port 7062.

The socket can be forwarded through ssh(1) and the stub implementations
of pbcopy, pbpaste and open can be used remotely to access the local
     pasteboard and open URLs.

     Forwarding can be configured with:

           RemoteForward 7062

           pbd &
           ssh -R 7062: tux.local

     open(1), pbcopy(1), pbpaste(1), ssh(1), ssh_config(5)
