[PATCH] manual: Zap superfluous . lines

At least with mandoc(1) from OpenBSD these lines have no effect at all
(confirmed with "mandoc -T ascii/html/pdf"), so remove them.

Neither do blank lines in codeā€¦ The source is 1000% easier to read
